:P. Hi. What's a locked account?

An account whose tweets can only been seen by their followers - and they have to approve each follower instead of the default, where anyone can follow you. AfterDark twitter accounts (those aimed at more "adult" content) tend to be locked, as well as those that tend to divulge more personal information (like where they're eating, their address, real names, etc). You'll know if an account is locked by the lock next to their name when you visit their profile, or by missing tweets in a twitter conversation (those ones are the most annoying :P)

People who I don't approve can't follow/read my tweets. Unfortunately, that also means I can't tweet at someone who isn't following me since they won't be able to read it. I like my privacy, though, since I talk about work sometimes.

Ahhhh. I shall have to search you out on Twitter then :P
