My sister's mother-in-law gives her the same grief. To the point that she was griping at our mother about how selfish my sister is for not giving her grandbabies. O.o Of course, this completely ignores that my brother-in-law got a vasectomy before they even married. Oy.

My mom never gave me crap about that sort of thing. Now my grandmoms on the other hand, that's a different story. Of course they were just haggling me to have grandkids and get married becasue I was never invited to anyone's wedding.

Don't worry about your mom. My aunt got married in her mid thirties and just had her first child a year ago. You have time if you do ever meet the perfect soul mate.

I hears ya. No kids for me either, I'm afraid. AND no wedding bells. Not that I don't like 'em, I just don't want any (of either one). My Mum used to sigh things like, "Well, I'd always hoped your father would go on {through my kids} ..." No pressure there or nothin' :D

I have been trying to settle down and want kids lol. My mom hates everyone of the guys I have let her meet. I just stopped bringing them home and trying to make her happy period. You can't really make your mom happy.

As for being a Maid of Honor that's what it is, an honor. Just be happy your friend is close enough to ask that of you. Keep you mind on that and what you will have to do for the wedding and don't worry about your mom.

This is kind of funny... I got this recently but I just started dating a long time friend so the mother gives me a low down of questions... Let me see if I can recall all of em.

Well lets just put it this way. When are you moving out here, do you want an apartment or house, are you willing to work, and when do I get grand babies? XD

Something along those lines, and we've been dating a week. XD Next thing I knew she wanted to take me to Vegas but luckily it was just to see the white tigers... not get hitched like its normally implied. XD

It took me years to convince my parents (especially Mom) how much I dislike kids and absolutely positively will never have them. Up until that point my words were usually met with, "You'll feel different when you have some of your own." That kind of statement always really bugs me.
