So there's that huge stone block, containing up to 9 Utahraptor skeletons preserved in quicksand. Due to funding issues however, it's just sitting there now, not being worked on. The scientist who discovered Utahraptor has to consider the serious possibility that he might retire or die before anything is done with it.
The Utahraptor Project now tries to get enough money together to continue. Slowly, public interest seems to get going! A big corporate sponsor would be the most practical thing, but if you are able and willing, maybe donate a few dollars. I did.
