Actually not dead + dart frogs + commission info

I took a bit of a hiatus due to my move from Virginia to Boston, but I’m finally in a good enough spot to be more active online! Tons of amazing people in Roanoke, but my living situation was consistently bad no matter where I moved, and this is the first time I haven’t had to deal with some sort of minor-to-major domestic disaster in 5 years.
Personal Stuff
My job at Pilot is lovely and has grounded me quite a bit. Cannot complain, except maybe the morning commute can be bad depending on the day. ;)
I’ve been slowly going through the Marie Kondo method of organizing my room, and it’s SO SLOW but I’m seeing a lot of progress. If it doesn’t “spark joy” and I really don’t have a need for it, I donate or toss it. I can’t really keep fish anymore due to apartment living and the difficulty moving them (which sucks), but my reward for realism will be a Ranitomeya variabilis, imitator, or fantastica dart frog vivarium I’ve been thirsty for. 8)
Commissions
All outstanding commissions should have been accounted for/refunded last year, but if I missed anyone there’s no time limit on contacting me about it!
I’ll be doing a handful of speedpaintings and shorter commissions a few times a month during streams, and for most it’ll be pay-on-completion to prevent complications on my end. There will be more slots open when I’m not doing any freelance, and less if I’m a bit bogged down with extra work. :)

I wonder how many smugglers die of accidental touches? I'd hate to think I'm encouraging the smuggling of animals, so it's nice this one is one of those "nah, it's captive-bred and too hard to compete with those low prices."
Captive diets include things like flightless fruit flies, so they're quiet easy to care for. :D
It's also nice to have an animal that's more exotic, but easy enough to breed that you don't have to worry about smuggling (and in most cases is better hand bred anyways), like my ball python. Apparently hermit crabs are ones that you still have to catch in the wild though, so I felt kind of bad for them, but they're probably going to live longer in my tank then in the wild as well.
Check out the Ranitomeya fantastica. The morphs are all insane, but they're also pretty dang expensive — around $150+ each. Might be worth it though; I so rarely splurge with fun stuff like this. B:
Staying PLENTY warm, probably too warm. I have a loft bed so it's hella hot near the ceiling. Hope you're staying warm too!
And thanks, it's nice to be active again! No hiding in the shadows, relaxing and adjusting to a new area. :D
This month or early March I'm going to open up some slots, so keep an eye out if you're interested!
Ooooooh, I hope you will maybe share some pics of the vivarium once you got it? We're also getting dart frogs at work which I am really excited for.
I am also going to get a little terrarium & millipedes some time soon so I know the joy in planning such things <3
Lastly, I really hope I can jump in one of the streams and snag something, looking forward to them :)
I'll definitely be sharing pics of the finished vivarium (and possibly progress pics on twitter or something). I still haven't even decided on a species of thumbnail I want to keep, now that I keep doing research and finding new ones. Check out how insanely awesome these guys are. Hashtag might be doing some commissions to finance some sweet frog species upgrades. 8)
I'm hoping to get into more of a pattern with streams, but in the near future they'll be a bit sporadic. Hope you can catch them too!
