I'd kind of like to know why the horses don't look like they're wearing those cute little rubber shoes. I mean, they just had a bumpy sole and in the pictures you can see hoof anatomy. Not that I mind seeing hoof anatomy at all...

Either the pictures were slyly edited after the fact, or the rubber horsie bumpy shoes thing is a BIG FAT LIE told to make children sleep at night.
