Hey everyone,

Some of you might already have heard about our idea of doing a “slumber party.”
Since we had a lot of positive feedback on this idea, we decided to work it out further.

The plan is to organize a fun and cosy evening (with overnight stay), watching movies, wearing Kigurumis, eating pizza, doing art, etc. And all this in a nice and quiet location in Profondeville, close to Namen/Namur.
The date for this event will be Saturday the 20th of may and Sunday the 21st of may.
At about 17h we’ll get started, but you can drop by whenever you like (e.g. people who have to work on a Saturday) The next day, after a good breakfast meal, we have to leave at 10h at the latest. However, the plan is to use the rest of the day for an activity we decide on the spot, depending on the weather and how everyone feels. Some of the options are: Hiking in the forest, minigolf, enjoying a drink on a terrace next to the Meuse, etc. After that, this event will end on time so everyone can be home at a decent hour, especially the people who have to work on Monday.

The registration process is similar to all our other meets, but with a few additions.
If you like to join, just leave a comment below as usual and we put you on the list.
We will then send you a note with payment information. Payment is due within one week after we put you on the list. Note that only when your registration fee is payed, we can confirm your status. Your confirmation mail will contain all remaining info, including the address of the location and guidelines on how to get there.
Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. When all spots are occupied, we’ll put you on the waiting list. If spots become free again due to circumstances, these spots will be given to the waiting list, again on a first come, first serve basis.

The registration fee is €38 and includes:
- Overnight stay
- Breakfast
- Use of the polyvalent room where we will actually do the slumber party
- Pizza’s
- Pancakes
- Basic supply of soft drinks and snacks

Bed linen are not included, so you have to bring them yourself. You have, however, the option to order them for an additional €5. Just ask for it during the registration.

While we provide some basics like soft drinks (Cola, Fanta, Sprite, etc.) and snacks (chips, etc.) we encourage you to bring some stuff of your own, like some kind of “pot luck.” Also, alcoholic beverages like beer and liquors are allowed, but you have to bring them yourself.

The location is in Profondeville, close to Namur and it’s situated in a green and quiet neighborhood. We’ll send the exact address and driving guidelines when you’re registered. For people coming by train, there is a train station in Lustin (gare de Lustin) with a direct connetion to Brussels. Once you’re there, we can pick you up.
The building consists of 4 rooms of 4 occupants and one room of 6 occupants, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a breakfast room a polyvalent room and a big garden. There’s sufficient parking space in front. Click here to get a first impression of the place.

Also, once you’re registered, you will be added to a dedicated Telegram chatgroup where we can discuss things like which movies we’re going to watch, carpooling to the location, etc.
Since spring will be well advanced at the time of this event, we decided to do a “spring/out of hibernation-theme,” hence the name of this journal.
If you have have a kigurumi, do bring it along! Same for pillows, blankets, etc. Things like that add to the cosyness factor! Fursuits are of course also very welcome.
