People labeled them based on their appearance, and they embraced the title. They're leaving cards all over that say "rawr, race war now" so the question of whether this is some misunderstanding is moot. Regardless of how all this started, they're milking the Nazi thing for all it's worth now.

Actually, I think you'll find that Nazism was a combination of left and right wing philosophies. The emphasis on social welfare programs was leftist, but the heavy focus on militant nationalism, expansionism, and racial purity was very much a right-wing phenomenon.

I remember someone who posted a journal about nazi furs and how they'd never give them art or anything. Didn't know it was cause nazi furs at a fur con. :P

Realistically though, the there is another way to handle someone using nazi stuff to offend everyone around them which would be to beat the shit out of them, I don't think they'd be happy with their choice anymore after that, regardless of it causing some fun drama, they got their ass handed to them. So I doubt they'd do it again unless they are a true nazi fur, or are ridiculously stupid. :P

Not that its the right way to handle it, its just another method that actually has a chance of putting a stop to it. It is rather offensive after all, its bound to happen at some point when they piss off the wrong person.

I once said that I don't like racist music, in a discord server. Then the admin Zirr and others joined in on making racist and Holocaust jokes all day. Then banned me for being "a bad person" when I got fed up with being constantly harassed all the time and tried to have the admins put a stop to it. I got banned from another server, for having the guy who did it to me blocked so I could ignore him. So ignoring him also got me punished.

Sometimes, beating the shit out of bullies is the best way to handle the situation.
