life updates + FC 2018

hey everyone! been a lil while. just wanted to keep folks up to date on what's up rn.
at the end of june, i moved back home to san jose. pretty much immediately after i was shuffled around the states for lots of trips and such, basically have been travelling constantly for three weeks more or less and it's been really exhausting. BUT! i'm at a friend's place atm but as of tomorrow i'll officially be back home for good, which means more time to work (and back to work at my day job, too) so expect more art n updates soon for that as well.
classes doesn't pick up again until sept. 2nd. it'll be nice to have p much all of august to finally just.... chill and work.
the travelling hasn't been helping my health; lots of issues w/chronic pain flare ups and not getting enough rest, but that's also p typical for me. my mom suggested i go see my old optomologist & my GP for the pain issues and i do plan to once i have enough stable income again. there's other medical needs i've been neglecting due to funds but that's just how it goes, right??
on a happier note! some really nice things!
my travels the past few weeks included a week in florida to see my girlfriend, who's as great as ever. i'm also covered in bug bites so that sucks but HEY. WHATEVS
second, i was EXTREMELY LUCKY and fortunate to be able to get myself, my gf, and two of my best friends tickets to see hamilton in LA in december on my birthday!! I'M STILL.... KIND OF IN DISBELIEF THAT IT'S HAPPENING? it feels surreal. i adore theatre and haven't had a chance to indulge in it in so long that i'm just. gosh. it's gonna be so fun. i'm so excited.
THIRD, I GOT ACCEPTED INTO DEALER'S DEN FOR FC!!!!!! catch me there in january next year! i'm so excited, it'll be my first time tabling at a furry con so i'm like AAAAAA. i expect to have lots of new merch coming out soon for it & will open badge preorders in october most likely!
OVERALL! things have been challenging, but good. working hard to keep everything moving & to keep my shit together, but it's rewarding despite the side effects. if anyone has any advice abt managing pressure-sensitive eye pain/glaucoma & back/shoulder pain, in the interim before i can see my doctors i'd love to hear them!
thanks everyone, as always, for your support and patience, i hope you've all been well!
