Awesome People and Close Friends Part 1
Well it's been a while since I wrote one of these, and I think it's time I updated people on what's going on with this duck.
As you may have noticed, my writing has been much more abridged than it once was. Truth is, I've gotten such a backlog of art pieces that I all wanted to write something lengthy and decent for; but haven't had the mental capacity to do so. And if for some reason I were to die tomorrow, I would hate to have not at least shared the artwork done by so many talented artists.
I mean, hell, yesterday I uploaded a pic from 2010, that's how many pics I still have laying around x_x the past several years have not been kind to me from a mental illness point of view. I have a couple friends who try and help me with my writing by role playing some of the dialog of characters, but even then I have a hard time translating it into a proper story.
So if you HAVE done art for me, I will EVENTUALLY get around to uploading it, I just need some time.
Part of my issues with writing for a while though was problems with artists. For a while I had stopped commissioning because I had so many bad experiences with paying artists for the work, and then having to fight for it to get completed, or simply get refunded. That KILLED my motivation for the longest time. At one point I almost debated announcing my retirement from writing / commissioning ; BUT things have gotten better! I've gotten back into commissioning new artists again, and I can safely say they've all mostly been good experiences!
So there you go! That's a little update from me. Keep an eye out in the coming months for a project collaboration between me and
