The underworks tritop is my favourite. I've worn a binder for 8 years now and I've gone through a couple and that's by far the comfiest one for me and they last a long time too if you take care of them right.

I know there's a couple other popular places now (like..G2B? I forget if that's the right name, it's something like that) but everything I hear about them are either on one extreme or the other, they're either fantastic or a nightmare and there seems to be no middle ground.

my very first binder was underworks and it flattened a lot but... as my chest got bigger it was just too uncomfortable :(

GC2B is generally the most well talked about, I don't have one but a lot of my friends do and I was considering it (though my surgery should be soon so idk, I've been holding off since I feel like I can just wait?)

new one about every 7-8 months depending on what I use it for, but I know others buy them a little
quicker depending on usage! I don't have a packer myself so I can't help with that unfortunately ;v;

I ordered a size up, its super comfy and clasps in the front and on the straps so its super easy to put on and adjustable!

man that hook and eye bit looks uncomfortable though ; - ; I've never seen a type like this before!

It has a little protective flap underneath it so its not chafing or rubbing on your skin ^u^

It kinda depends on your size. Some binders are better for smaller builds and others are better for larger builds.
I do find Underworks to be the most well rounded, and smaller builds have an easier time finding good binders because they are a dime a dozen and don't need to be super powerful without being painful.

For packers, it depends on what you're looking for. Do you want it to look realistic, or do you care less about appearance bc you don't plan to whip it out for aesthetic purposes? Do you want it to be functional (meaning you can actually urinate out of it and/or use it for sex)? I find that starting with those questions will help lead you in the right direction.

That was my problem with binders. They're too tight to be comfortable on me, but my chest is unfortunately big :(
As for packers, I still have my classic mr softy, or something like that. I'd be interested in finding a good STP but the last one I tried was an unfortunate experience. Back in those days the only STP out was the medicine spoon type XD

I'm a larger guy as well so they're mostly uncomfortable for me too. I can't bind for several hours without feeling like I need to readjust constantly. I don't like my tritop because it rolls up- I prefer my full tank one- though it is more restricting because of it. It still rolls up but its not as painful when it does.

As for STPs, there are ones that don't look like penises-- they're marked to women who are like. Camping or in a situation where you don't want to have to undress completely or whatever. There's one company called gogirl that is the top one listed when you search for it. There are realistic looking ones, but you should really do research on them to find whether or not it will work for you.

there's only 2 prosthetic penises that are STPs that don't use the medicine spoon (that I know of).

The first is the peecock (that's the correct spelling). The second is something I found on aliexpress, not sure what the actual brand is because it's all in an asian language (Usually Chinese). And the description always changes.
Anyway, I own both, they're both pretty good for STP but the packing aspect is ehhhh (imo).

gen2 peecock doesn't look very real but is better for the packing aspect imo. Gen3 is overall an improvement EXCEPT the rod you put in for the erection. It is flexible and all the joints are super loud, I would never ever feel comfortable wearing it (and I have one) because you can DEFINITELY hear it, just look at any peecock review vid and you can hear it.
Of course you could just get the gen3 and not use the erection rod at all thereby solving this problem.

The aliexpress one is decent in all regards, except the head of the penis is so hard/protruding that it cuts the inside of whoever you're penetrating. A really thick condom might help there but I haven't tried that yet.

Personally I have had so many problems packing (can't STP correctly for whatever reason, penis too big and looks like I have a constant chub, general paranoia) that I just stopped packing altogether and haven't packed for years.

But then again, I've transitioned in all ways other than bottom, so I guess I really don't have any dysphoria to worry about anymore.

I haven't tried the GC2B binders but those are also highly recommended, so it's whatever you prefer really.

For packers I recommend the good ol' Mr. Limpy, which is cheap and can be found in a lot of places online - though it's not realistically colored and can't be used for play/STP. It feels & looks realistic through underwear/pants though (well, the mini does which may be too small depending on your preferences). I haven't tried any other packers.

Gc2b was the most comfortable one I had (I don't use them anymore because I finally got to surgery) but that's who I recommend for that, and you can exchange them if they aren't the right size. As far as packers, I don't know. XD I don't have one. Best of luck to you with all this!

I know its already been stated but GC2B is the best place to get binders. They last, they're comfortable. And I myself have an issue with heat, it makes me nauseous and generally sick(I'm also stuck in the south) and binders in the past for me have always just been hot wraps basically. But GC2B has never affected me that way they are so breathable! My step brother also uses them and is on the larger size and they're comfortable for him and breathable as well!

I haven't done my research on packers myself but I've never heard of any bad companies or anything to look out for either. Best of luck!

Lmao everyone else has said it already, but gc2b is by far my favorite. For packers, a great basic beginner packer is Mr. Limpy, my personal favorite for everyday wear!

I know someone said there was a good packer that you could use to also go to the restroom with, and that also had a pump in it to inflate to represent an erection. I can't for the life of me remember the web site or name of said packer, but I know they said it's the best one to use besides a solid piece of silicone shoved into your pants all the time that didn't do much for ya.

I know pull-over binders are the best to use given they have a good, full coverage of the area instead of wraps or anything else. They kinda look like an A-shirt from what I've seen.

Underworks works well for binding, but it can hurt a little after a while. If your chest grew and the binder became more uncomfortable that could have been simply because you went up a size - with binders you should never wear a size too small, always go for a perfect size or a size too big.
I use a Mr Limpy packer (small or extra small), but I really do suggest getting the smallest ones possible as they can come in hilarious sizes, but it depends on your height/weight and what sorts of trousers you wear, you know? They're very cheap, but you have to make sure you dry them out with cornstarch every now and then, but you can easily google how to do that.
If you feel guilty about presenting yourself a certain way because indulgence and whatnot, don't worry! Just do whatever makes you feel the most comfortable!
