I'm back from Denmark vacation, and I have something to post. Well, within the week or so. There's a scene left to write, and a touch of editing perhaps, but it's so close to finished now that even my spectacular laziness can't stop this project from reaching its goal.

This one is actually based on a request someone made, but it's been so long that I'm not sure if they remember who I am. Well, it matters not. The reason I kept it on my to-do list for all these years is that it was just a really good idea. I knew I had to write it at some point. It just ended up happening later rather than sooner.

When I sat down to write in Denmark, I realized just how much I've developed as a writer since I first joined this site. The words were just flowing onto the page, and I kept surprising myself with delightful turns of phrase. I hope that you all will enjoy this story as much as I do. It's really something quite special, and it's at six thousand words and counting.

That's all I had to say. I've been sitting in a car for fifteen hours this weekend and my everything is hurting. I'm gonna collapse in bed for a bit, but I'll see you all again very soon.
