Lumina WAD Summary

*** The Lumina Tragedy ***Published on Aug 23rd 1994.Back in the 60's, Lumina® proved itself to be a noteworthy underground organization which operated outside the jurisdiction of the American government. The organization's top priority was to provide cheap electric power to citizens without having to rely on shady companies who take advice from our much beloved politicians, and overcharge. For the most part, the idea proved fruitful – Americans loved the service they were getting on a “don't ask, don't tell” basis. However, ever since a mysterious catastrophic explosion in 1986, the company faced an incredible amount of backlash from the families of the workers who were killed in the accident. Facing an insurmountable debt, Lumina® was forced to close its doors permanently at the beginning of the 90's.
What was worse however, was that the victims of the explosion never received a proper burial due to the condition of their bodies – at least, that was Lumina's® claim. Because of the company's strict policy regarding the exposure of proprietary information - however old, and also considering that it was a private company – nobody outside of the organization was allowed to delve into the mystery behind what really happened to those workers on that fateful day without facing lethal opposition. An insider who's chosen to remain anonymous managed to successfully leak to the FBI that the company possessed turrets which were designed of course to deter any attempts to uncover the corruption within.
With the aid of an ethical hacker, the turrets were successfully disabled and the FBI was able to begin its investigation in 1992. What the insider failed to mention however is that the ghosts of the workers still roamed the barren electric plant – and they were far from accommodating.
Build Time: 22 Hours and 33 Minutes (Basically a whole day!)
Recommended Ambient Theme: Tomb Raider 3 “No More Waiting Around” (Thanks Jacob E.A. Lyons!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYm3k6FQM70
Key Points:
1. Since Lumina is such a wide open map, it might take the ghost longer than usual to find its victims. It's up to the GM's discretion whether or not to extend the game time, or ask SN the dev to limit some of the map.
2. There exists an abundant array of opportunities for ambush since most of the environment can be used for parkour-like maneuvers.
3. Secrets await the adventurous.
