Alrighty guys, I am back from Costa Mesa (been back for about a week now, but eh) and now I have only 1 more VGC to look forward to this go around, but Costa Mesa was wonderful and despite my 4-4 I felt very strong. Sadly I lost 3 of the 4 of my matches do to paraylze and it isn't even the cut in speed it is the fact my pokemon was fully paraylzed so many times, I mean my newest addition to my team was fully paraylzed for 3 turns in a row in game 2. Sadly I didn't really meet anyone while I was in California, but after VGC I gave up going to the MSS the day after to go to disneyland, so it wasn't to bad, at the end of the day I at least got 81st.

Round 1 (Sand)(L/W/W): Easy win, lost game 1 do to a flinch in a 1v1 between Scrafty and Excadrill, but after that I was able to easily clean up game 2 making one mistake that cost me Charizard Y when I was super ahead, but game 3 I swept my opponent easily

Round 2 (TR Camrupt)(L/W/L): lost game 1 easy, but Typhlosion savaged him game 2, lost game 3 due to Scraftybeing paraylzed 3 turns in. Row and failed to KO camrupt before it woke up. Very close game

Round 3 (TR Torkoal) (W/L/L) won game one easy and got destroyed game 2 by a mega Blazekin/scarf lele, game 3 was close, but lost by a misplayed over predict

Round 4 (Bellydrum Slurpuff) (W/W): easy game 1, difficult game 2 because he brought heatran, made a fatal mistake by trying to finish off flashfire typhlosion with heatwave.Swampert cleaned up the game

Round 5 (Sand PsychicSpam) (L/L): Quickly learned to hate this copy paste team, lost both games easily. Game 2 Scraftygot paraylzed for 2 turns by Zapdos before i fell to Lele and failed to KO Tyrannitar

Round 6 (Stand Sun) (W/W) Game 1 was close, after beating Landerous my biggest threat delt with. Charizard lived a helping hand sludge bomb to set up Typhlosion with tailwind to close game 1, despite the posion KOing Charizard it was well worth it. Game 2 was rougher and he put me in a 1v2 position against a -2 Landerous and a -3 mamoswine, but scrafty easy took their hits and finished both off. What a champion!

Round 7 (Sand PsychicSpam) (L/L): Man fuck this team, exact same team as round 5 and lost round 1, Round 2 i wasin a winning position but a crit Tbolt on Scrafty+paraylze+being unable to attack ended the round in frustration.

Round 8 (Sand Psychic Spam) (W/L/W): i had enough losing to this team! Won game 1 flawlessly and the timer won my opponent game 2. Game 3 i took adeep breath and pressure my opponent in a corner. My opponent was lockedin a corner by swampert who block landerous T out withwide guard and a fast Charizard outspeeding a low health lele! GG
