[Journal mirror] Sabre is on LIFE SUPPORT!

Well, what do I have to say...

Mirroring this journal entry to hopefully gather attention.
:userbigbadbeast:'s heart is FAILING and he has been put on LIFE SUPPORT!
Social security stiffed him once again and they're just blatantly ignoring his medical emergencies at this point. (Is this even legal!?)
His PayPal is sabrethebeast[at]gmail.com, still needing $250 to successfully finish his heart procedure.

I took a look at his page. There's mention of rape, kidnapping, dead loved ones, homelessness, pneumonia, cancer, heart attack, heart failure, a mugging just this month, supposed lies from previous roommates and trouble with commissioners, all accompanied by requests for actually rather small amounts of money, or used as reasons for why he can't finish commissions. All these are seemingly separate occurrences mentioned in journals just from this year.
I know bad things happen, and I know to some people bad things happen a lot. I know health problems can snowball into more health problems, and homelessness can do the same.
But I'm also quite sure that hospitals don't require you to pay them up-front before they'll do a life-saving procedure, especially not to the tune of $250.
I'm not saying he's definitely lying, but I there are many red flags and I can't in good conscience say nothing.
I could be completely wrong. But I don't want to see people scammed.
In the end, people can only decide for themselves.
He's probably got a bit of pneumonia if this is true and any lifesaving treatment required is gonna be provided. There's actually a law requiring it. But yeah they wouldn't be holding him up for a lifesaving procedure until he forks over $250.
I don't have a clue what home care would cost for three months, so while I don't think $250 sounds in any way realistic, I won't say so definitively. Still, I would tread carefully with this.
Don't get sick, or die quickly.
