Multi-Spot YCH - FEEDBACK WANTED
General
Hello Everyone,
Recently I posted a preview of my next YCH to my Twitter. It was pointed out that I should do multi-spot versions so more furs can get a pic. I have been pondering that.
I prefer to do "one off" pictures, knowing that there will only ever be one of a particular picture. I mainly do this because I am doing all of my furry work traditionally (I work digitally at my job and it is nice to keep up the traditional stuff at home).
What are your thoughts? Should I do a multi-spot YCH for my next picture? Your feedback is very very welcome and, indeed, very very wanted.
Thanks ^_^
Jade

Your style is unique with every piece. That's what I like about it.
My opinion; keep doing what you're doing.
It's always a thrill to see what you do with each individual drawing.
Quality over quantity.
HOWEVER; you could do a multi character sketch (2-4 character slots) and have people bid on each slot.
Kwik; an artist I follow does this a lot.
If nothing else, it would be kind of a neat experiment for me. Especially if I get to draw drastically different characters all in the same pose.
However, I can also see how it would be rather hard to do so with traditional. And since I can also completely understand your preference based on what you do at work vs what you do for fun...
What I'm trying to say is that nearly every artist I know and watch have the same similarity: when they are really into the picture they are making, when they are enjoying themselves, the end result is just better than when they did it for work and it was nothing but work. Not saying it's a bad thing - everyone does the same thing in their own trade. I know I do.
So I'd much rather you enjoy yourself and put out a quality product than mass-produce something of lesser quality.
At any rate, whatever choice you make, it should be the right one for you first and foremost. :)
And while I'm all for traditional, I'd be curious to see your digital work every now and then as well. I'm always curious to see what artists do with different mediums - digital or traditional or whatever else that might be out there.
So, yeah, sure hoping that I'll be able to commission you or nab one of your YCHs eventually. I love your work as a whole, and you have such a unique and an expressive style.
And, please, don't burn yourself out with this. :)
Until then... see you, space foxy!
I think the other thing that you'd know best - how much you wanna take on versus moving onto a new theme.
The more I see it, the more I want it!
Not many artist who can trigger me like that ^^
If its about steady income... Then do multiples, enough people like the work and probably would like some of those poses, I ask just ensure outside of their character there is something unique about each something like different backgrounds, items, something that gives a sense of alternate because once I see YCH's I pretty much see them as the same they don't quite feel like the originals you used to do more steadily but they have their fun sense, if they all look about the same it cheapens the affect.
Personally I enjoy your creativity so you coming up with excellent, new, neat ideas is preferred over duplicates, but again its really about how you want to see your art!
