If you know something about web development & love growth...

So, I'm not the best person in the world to try and get something like this started, but here goes:
Those of you who love macro/growth stories, both writing and reading them, have probably looked at or even participated in Dragonien's 'A changing Perspective' on writing.com. The story is essentially dead now, because of the toxic website it is hosted on; but I would really love to get this story (among others) revived on a different platform.
There's been an effort to put it together on twine; but even if that happens then it would still be static; no one would be able to post new chapters. If it could be made alive online, then a community of creators could form around it, and add to it, and make it grow. Something that would have an editable database of chapters and account management for people to create and edit new chapters; I can;t imagine it would need much more than that.
Now, I don't know if there is an appropriate platform ready to be utilised, or if something would need to be created from scratch; so I figured I'd pitch this idea out and see if there are some people in the know who could help out, with either advice or actual skills.
Personally, I can't offer anything in the way of skills or even much time; but I can offer some (albeit limited) financing in terms of hosting and potentially coding if its needed (which could all be discussed).
please let me know if you have any knowledge/skills in this area and this is of interest to you!

There are a handful of CYOA sites out there that can possibly do this with minimal setup.. And if you are looking for something less linear, the SCP Foundation has done an amazing job of turning a wiki-style site into a series of stories, with lots of juicy tags. I expect that will take a bit more work just to set up.
And we're kind of trying to find a decent platform to work with before we start going through the incredibly arduous process of copy-pasting everything from the original story into the new system, unless someone could magically whip up some kind of application that could make that easier as well. I Googled around and actually found one that supposedly was supposed to be able to export interactive stories but the guy stopped updating it years ago and I can only assume that it probably gets broken whenever you end up with one of those web pages that says the server is full and won't load the chapter
Don't know why they suddenly decided to hide everything behind a paywall.

What's the basic plot/synopsis?

I think working as a team can be more productive in a context like this...
No limits on what to post. All furry centric. It would be the writing.com of the furry fandom. I might have to look into website design and coding at some point.
I have a 1000+ chapter story on writing.com , so I'm curious to see if any solution to this journal comes up because I to have tried to find an alternative.
Give them a BB/discord system for them to comment/discord about and boom, jobs done. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezey as the kids say these days.
It's what I do with my writing partners and with the 3 books I've published. Granted... 300 pages isn't the same as 400+ chapters.
If somebody coded a website similar to wikipedia, it might work. Have the story and at the bottom have the hyperlinks leading to the different story paths.
I have been thinking about creating my own branching-story-application for a while and kept thinking that it wouldn't have a big enough audience to be a financially sound project to follow. I still think that's the case _but_ if we can scope this down to something that can be done over a weekend, then I can help. The project I work on at my company is web based, with a large back-end done in Scala, so I have plenty of relevant experience. I have examined this problem from the writer's perspective as well.
Good luck.
