Unpopular digestion opinion (maybe?)
Maybe pre-digestion perhaps? It's a little hard to label. It's a bit of a 2 part digestion too.
So for anyone who doesn't know, I am somebody who likes digestion with my vore. (especially with the weight gains afterwards.) but there seems to be a certain version of digestion that I like that doesn't seem to be popular. Although it just be because it doesn't show well in art form.
So when it comes to digestion, most artists portray digestion happening ether within a few hours or over night. Me on the other paw like longer digestion times. A week to even a month depending on the pred/prey combination. The next part is more the unpopular part.
The part I really don't see is a pre-digestion compression which doesn't use stomach acids. The point more is the stomach squeezing in and compacting the prey into a tightly packed meal, easier to move around with. During which none of the prey is digested at all. The strong stomach muscles roughly massage the prey and may even dislocate or break some bones in order to compress them tight enough. It is very unlikely for larger prey to survive a compression since a same size prey would end up looking like a tight beer belly.
After this point, the prey has more mobility while their stomach joices get to work actually converting the prey into nutrition. Coupled with the long digestion time and that is my vore sweet spot~
As I said before, this seems to just be a digest setup that only I am into. I have seen some people who portray long digestion times and there are verious artists that draw quick stomach shrinking times. (although I'm not a fan of lava like stomach acids.) I can sometimes pretend it's compression but most times the clues point at lava acid.
Just wanted to share my opinion. Curious if anyone shares my idea here.

FA+

ISNT THAT RIGHT
I'd love to play this kind of thing with you
most of my characters can do a "gentle" space compression to hide the bulge without hurting the prey inside. however, one character can (optionally; at will) squeeze their prey any amount from a tight squeeze, to a compressed ball.
I don't draw that part much(well,I don't draw anything much) but probably should.
While that wouldn't be the easiest thing to depict in art without it being perhaps a tad too gruesome to see directly (with the breaking bones/squishing with respect to physical anatomy/etc), it definitely sounds more tenable from a writing perspective... Hm....
The idea of a prey spending multiple days inside during the digestion process is, for me, a new concept.
