If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe - Carl Sagan It's the start of a new month, which means its time for another story poll~ I had a little trouble filling this one out on my own, so I'm probably going to do something more later on in the month to make up for it, but I haven't figured out what that is just yet. In the meantime, here's what my Patreon supporters get to vote on this time. I write more than just the top option throughout the month, so it's highly likely you'll see more than one of these
Filling the Role
A prestigious parade is holding auditions for the Santa at the head of it all, which has attracted all manor of round and wobbling fur. Additional points are awarded for meeting size requirements without assistance, and the smaller of the hopeful actors stuff all the way to the last minute. According to the hippo that has won the honor the last five years however, it won’t do them any good. With this in mind, Victor has decided to take his training to the next level. Eating the other actors both narrows the competition and increases his odds, but will it be enough to earn the role, or will his plan backfire?

Seasonal Quests
It’s not uncommon for MMOs to run special events for the holidays, and the world’s most popular, VR enabled game is no exception. Instead of trying to stop some vile villain from stealing the show or assisting the big red man himself, this years quest involves stopping a crazed computer from corrupting the wholesome holly jolly spirit. The line of quests culminates in a massive raid against the computers core, though rumor has it there are still some critical bugs in the encounter…

Winter Warmth
The cold that comes at the end of the year can be hard enough to deal with on its own, but it becomes exceptionally so when you’re cold blooded. A naga and his bovine girlfriend have found a solution that involves him spending most of the winter months in her womb. Though she enjoys the closeness, she still wishes to spend a few days face to face, which has inspired a plan. Her flab and padding keeps the worst of the weather from bothering her, so maybe the same thing would help her scaly mate
