I like the very clear and prominent differences in proportions between masculine and feminine characters, especially between different male characters. That's something that greatly appeals to me.

I am a fan of your comics almost anime like style. It allows you to get sucked in but still allows for that disconnect common with anime and older cartoons where it isn't meant to imitate real life completely.

aw shucks <3 I know what you mean. the pacing in eastern comics allows for more pauses and silences than a lot of western comics.
I go to school for comics so XD It's something I've actually researched

The new direction here in the west that animation is taking where it is 3D and looks more real kinda ruins the disconnect from reality. The magic of it if you will, for me I gravitate to styles that don't try to take that rout and distinguish themselves from it.

Personally I love the simplicity of it. You make wonderful things without any over the top effects or dandies! :3

There is a playfulness and happiness in your work that shows no matter what the scene is. I like your anime like style but capturing emotion is harder then it looks. I wish I had half the talent you do.

(also, don't worry. You're not a machine, you don't know everything. It's fine to take inspiration from other things. People confuse "tracing" and "taking inspiration". They are not the same thing, nor are they done in the same way. Inspiration is when you look at more stuff to get an idea of how things work. And there is nothing wrong with that! I know you're not doing that anymore, like you said, I'm just saying that there is no need to feel bad for it :3)

I know you're right about inspiration ;u; I definitely still do get inspired by things around me. I suppose it's more that I no longer try to emulate a particular artist, but instead ask 'what is it about their work I enjoy?' and try to work it in my own way

Yeah, it's good to ask yourself that sometimes if you're looking at plenty of other artists, try to respect stuff on their own, and somehow maybe try to implement stuff you like into your own work. And yeah. it's alright to get inspired by other arts! :3

I started out not tracing but "mimicing" other artists I liked and eventually turned into my style today as far as line. Is that what some american cartoonists do with anime?

Tracing is when you literally copy another art. Like put your paper beside the thing, or even over the thing, and then replicate it. So you definitely weren't doing that
Some people don't need references while drawing or when starting out. Those people are lucky, lol. You were maybe mimicking a bunch of other styles, but still, you weren't copying them. You were just looking at them for an idea of how to do certain things. And you looked at few artist presumably, mixing all of that into your own interpretation. And now you developed your style, which is great! ^w^

Here's another 'I struggle to put my finger on it', but you have a style that is very yours. When I go through new submissions I sometimes open a ton of tabs and then guess the artist from the art and yours is very distinct.

I've followed you for a while and I can definitely tell your style has changed. I almost want to say less smooth, more character? I'm not sure how to explain 'smoothness' in this context, but the change is definitely not a bad thing and I want to say it's what made you more distinct from popfur style?

The most recent commission you did for me is a good example, because I can't think of any of the artists I've commissioned before whose style would've fit better for that specific piece.

Oh man, where to start? First off, I absolutely love the colors you use. Those, along with the way they are colored and a lot of the poses you draw give me a sense of calm that I can’t really explain.
Another thing I love are the way you draw faces, that and your anatomy of your more femininely build guys. It, along with your poses, gives your art a very pleasing aesthetic that I haven’t found in another artist. Every time I see your stuff in my inbox it makes my day.

#1 Facial expressions and emotions.
A lot of artists can draw well, but not that many can actually convey expressions and emotions across a drawing with facial expressions. Harder still given what you're drawing isn't human and how they look has to differ from that of a human.

Anatomy and poses are great too.

Oh where to begin... Your use of colors just amazes me. You can draw such strong moods with them and I love it. The way you exicute themes are always great too, like that transition piece with the giraffe in the mirror. Your doodles are always great as well, the goofy ideas you have like the dick golem are too good. It also helps there is this wholesome goofball behind the art that everyone should love and give all the TLC. <3

It feels alive and your personality shines through. You have personal style that is as rich as an individual's handwriting.

I don't mind all the other stuff, but your painted works are really what shines to me.
I like the use of hard thick lines in places while still having a softness to the overall feel; it shows in both your style of painting and your use of contrast. There's sharp darks and lights but it never feels overpowering of the whole piece, it just directs the eye.

As someone who's been watching you for a while your art style is like, constantly changing. You're a very different artist than when I first began stalking you. Like subtly, but it's noticeable. I mostly like your art because of the color pallete, it's very rare for me to find consistent cool color schemes. Lots of of blues, greens, and the like. I would say clean lines with a painterly style is my favorite, regardless of subject matter. You're also way more willing than most to draw a wide variety of body types. Personally, I'd like to see more experimental stuff from you, surrealism is something I've lowkey been wanting to see you do for quite some time.

I'm also trying to be concrete and not say things like "It's evocative." because that's a useless statement. But yeah, that's mostly what I enjoy about your art.

There's so much that I adore about your work. I love how varied of a style you have when it comes to sketches - while there is a variety, they're always recognizable as you!

Another thing I love is how dynamic your sketches are! Everything you do, even the small stuff, feels like it has so much life and personality. Your body types have a relatable realness to them, as well!

And last but not least, your use of color and brush strokes in your more painterly works! I'm probably lowkey one of your biggest fans. Be it G - X rated, I always swoon over every single thing you post!

Always liked the poses you choose. They feel more relaxed and natural compared to commonly used poses in the fandom. Makes the characters seem more believable and relatable.

I'd say that my favorite artists or creators really work hard to create a sense of a common world that their characters occupy-- one that feels lived-in, and is more inclusive and accepting than the one we live in.

Stylistically, I do notice a lot of your lines and colors/shading seem a little more fluid and softer lately? Not a bad thing, just a little different.
