Tunesday #5: "Tired Boy"
Since I'm hot garbage and kept up with the original schedule for about a week, I'll be changing Tunesday to simply one day a week on whatever day I can get a round to it (probably Wed/Thurs/Fri as I'm off these days). Once again I'll post a song that I've had on repeat or have always had a special place for.
My musical interest span multiple genres and artists, its going to be inevitable that I post songs you don't like and songs that you . I encourage you to discuss what it is you do or don't like about the song or type of music. Be civil, we're all just here to jam -- music shouldn't be a volatile topic.
I was turned on to Joey Pecoraro by my roommate and immediately knew he was going to be one of my favorites. I like to call him the "Coffee House Nujabes" because of his emphasis on the use of softer synths, standard pop bass lines with lo-fi horn riffs all wrapped up in a cozy slow tempo. If you're looking for homework music, check out his albums "Tired Boy" and "Music for Happiness". You wont be disappointed.
