Fur-Eh Wrap Up
So I'm home from Fur-Eh! 2019. One of the big differences this year is that I hosted my first panel and did some volunteering. Made some new friends, including a few who recognized my character and were flabbergasted to learn I was local to the area. It's something I'm growing more used to as it does seem to happen more often each year.
---Vore Panel
I hosted a vore panel and found it to be a success beyond even my best expectations. It turned out to be a highly anticipated panel as I heard plenty of people discussing about attending it before I hosted it. Seems many were curious what it was all about and what I had to say. I didn't realize that vore panels were such a rarity among cons in general and was informed that even the big ones don't have them, so it was a bit of a unique feature in the programming.
It was my first panel, so I did end up rushing through my material and presentation. Was a blessing in disguise though as it was the last panel of the day at 11PM and people were tired. Despite the improvements I can make the panel seems to have been well received as I heard nothing but positive feedback.
During the panel I mentioned that I actually based my presentation on an un-published vore article I wrote. One of the few questions I had after-ward was a request for me to post it, so expect to see that article posted to my FA in the coming days!
I have ideas for a second panel next year, and it'll be interactive as well.

In the coming days I'm going to be making a series of call-out journals to fulfill various plans and ideas. Suggestions would be appreciated!

I usually go to the Fur-Eh Christmas party and do plan on going to Fur-Eh 2020 as well!

Yes, it's one of their primary fundraisers for the con and is a pot-luck style get-together held in December in Calgary.

Hi Slyther! I really enjoyed your panel, I thought it was really interesting, and it really inspired me. I'm really glad you put together the presentation, I can imagine it was pretty nerve wracking!

Glad you enjoyed it! Despite slightly rushing through my material I've still got nothing but positive feedback about it.

The rushing through gets better the more you do it. Exact same thing happened to me during my first grad student presentation!
