The 'rape fantasy'
Okay, it has come to my attention that nine tenths of the individuals within the furry genre harbour ...hold... something called a 'rape fantasy'. This fantasy is aberrantly such a widely spread epidemic that it is then -assumed- that -any- submissive/bottom within the genre -automatically- has such fantasies.
I do not write this to start a flame war or the like, but expressing a particularly strong opinion of mine in regards to this 'fantasy'.
Rape is not nice. It never -is- nice. It is cruel, it is demeaning, it is degrading, it is damaging to both the physical body and the mental state of equilibrium. It is a taking and a breaking of your soul, not just your body, it is the complete and utter defilement of -who- you are.
The only people who are 'allowed', in my mind, to have 'rape fantasies' are rape -victims-, and even then it is not so much a fantasy as a symptom of their mental status, a not good symptom at that. They know what it is like, they have experienced it, and in doing so have broken something inside so that in that utter defilement of all that they are, is the only time they feel something 'pleasant', such as being wanted, or loved, or desired so greatly that the desirer just -has- to rape them, they cannot resist it. This, again, does not bode well for their mental status.
On the flip side of the coin, if you enjoy -raping- you are a loathsome creature. No two ways about it. That you get off on leaving your partner torn and tattered, weeping and broken inside and out is not healthy, is not ... a 'good' thing to feel. If you feel that you -have- to rape someone, or automatically assume that just because the last three you raped enjoyed it that every one after will, you just... sicken me. I repeat, rape is NOT NICE. Anyone who 'delights' in the control, the 'buzz' that raping another and leaving them bruised, battered and broken body and soul, regardless of whether their victim is male or female, deserves to have their internal organs spilled across the floor while their genetalia bleeds their life blood out into an ever widening pool.
And before any who read this get all up and arms over my assessment of mental states, know this: I am a studying psychologist and counsellor, and as part of my course I -have- spoken with rape victims, I have even been friends with them, and helped them get over their grief and regain their sense of self worth. Any creature that would -willingly- submit... no, that's not the right word for it, inflict, there we go... such a status onto another on a regular basis deserves nothing less than a complete and utter taking of -everything- they are, just as they took from countless others.
Now that I have so eloquently expressed myself on -that- side of the coin, lets take a look at the other, shall we?
Consensual force: sounds a bit like an oxymoron, doesn't it? But this, I believe, is what most confuse their 'rape fantay' with. The desire within them to be wanted so much that they are pinned down and used for the others pleasure. Bear with me, I'll explain the difference between this and rape in a minute. This can be expressed in the desire to be bound and fucked senseless, to have a limited say in personal space -- no warning about when a possessive hand might steal a grope -- or perhaps even held down mercilessly to squirm and writhe and pant while a skilled (or at worst, eager) mouth forces the cries from their lips. This, I repeat, is -not- rape, it is a sharing of pleasure. What particular -form- that pleasure takes is up in the air, it can be leaving teeth marks in shoulders, or seed dripping from flesh, the sweaty, sticky, urgent twine of dual bodies striving for climax. Rape is one held down, a hole to be fucked, used, abused and then disgarded. There is no shared pleasure, it is a taking, not a sharing.
This, I think, might be the confusion. Consensual force leaves both parties panting and exhausted, one aching and perhaps leaking, but both satisfied and content. Rape leaves one party panting and exhilarated, the other weeping and degraded, aching and bleeding blood and thicker things.
Can you see the difference? Or do I need to explain more?
