I always wondered. How many artists just.. rejected your commissions for them being too hardcore?

Depends on what you mean.

I always tailor my commissions to artists tastes and preferences.

OR

I find an artist who is hardcore mercenary and even though they don't really get into it, will do a good job drawing most anything.

Either way I always make sure people are comfortable with what I propose. Which can be awkward at times. Occasionally it goes something like this.

M: Do you have a will draw/won't draw list?
A: No! Just ask me what you'd like.
M: Are you sure? It's pretty hard stuff. Maybe you can give me some ideas.'
A: Sure it's fine.
M: Grinder porn, necro, snuff, rape, torture, cockbortions, hyper, sweat, mlp you do any of that?

Then they never reply! ;)

Honestly though most people have been fine and I've only had like 1-2 encounters or mis-steps where fetish stuff got in the way.

It would be hilarious if mlp was ever the item on the list that got you shut down...

I mean there are plenty of people who won't do MLP stuff, but it's never been a shutdown issue ;)
