Yay, restructuring!

Or, Excuse the mess, we're renovating.
I really need to make more journals, the previous one is a year old now, people might think I'm dead!
So! As many of you may already have realized I'm mainly a commissioner rather than an artist. That doesn't mean I don't work with my own stuff but when I first got here I didn't really expect to start commissioning as much as I am now. Early on I decided to keep within a monthly budget not to go overboard and ruin myself but I realized I never actually checked if I kept it or not. I just had a hunch that I had spent around a certain amount each month.
So, I decided to analyze my spendings a bit now before the task becomes too gigantic. So I have sorted every comm I've ever gotten on a rather substantial google sheet. The result is quite interesting, here are some tidbits:
I did manage to almost keep witing the budget goal I had set. I'm not going to say any exact numbers I've spent so far but it is just shy of the cost of my daily driver car! Then again my daily is my cheapest car now so that doesn't say a lot.
Maribelle has the most comms. Big shocker! She's clocking in at 20+ and she also has the lowest average comm price, so she's an efficient sheep that one.
Fireball is second on the amount of comms she has, and she is also second on the average price per comm.
Florence has the most expensive average. Bling durg deserves only the best.
Not much to say about Solitude, Flannery, Hebi, and Fanfare. They are rather even and with a couple of comms at around the same price.
Amber has the least amount of total comms, I'll get to that later.
Iris is also interesting, she has by far the biggest amount of unfinished comms. The value of the unfinished ones are higher than all of Ambers put together.
It also shows other characters not yet shown AND how much I've been scammed, and it's not really happy numbers...
So what was the idea of all this? I'm going to try and focus on balancing this a little. But I also realize that people actually do want to see some characters more than others, SO I think I might start doing polls in the future as well as balancing on my own. I also had a vision of trying to type commission ideas as well to have easily accessible for feedback and for artists to see but at the moment I have to realize I'm nowhere near that big on visitors for that to work, but it's a fun idea.
