You don't need to be a GOH to host a panel, otherwise you'd only have 1-2 panels in an entire con.

The GOH panels I have attended were dull. Just hungover 'popufurs' who are at the panel purely to satisfy the quota requirements of being a guest, or have too much anxiety to share anything productive.

I ended up hosting a panel of writing Fan Fiction at IBFC this last summer and had bawsically ran the Fursuit Construction/Survival Panels at the last three ConFurances.

I also plan on hosting three at both GSFC and IBFC this next year on Fan Fiction Writing, Furry Table Top RPGs and Puppets.

I am not a profesionall in any of those, well maybe the puppets and the fact I have been writing and doing Table Top RPGs for years.

To me it is when you feel comfortable doing it.
