Slightly more comprehensive update
Another brief update: I'm still working on book 1 of Mountain King Saga, which I hope to have done in the next two weeks and off to the beta readers. That is an optimistic hope, but it WILL be done in three weeks max, because no one hates being slow more than I do.
The REASON I have been slow is manifold, but mostly revolves around efforts to put myself in better condition. I have succeeded in large part, but only insofar as is reasonable to this point, and the whole process will take a further fourteen weeks or so to complete. I've dropped half a foot off my waist, but that's only half what's needed.
Turns out I'd gotten to the point where some fairly drastic measures were called for, and the time required to put all that into effect sucked a lot of the life out of me. I'm getting to the point where I can re-integrate more of what I used to do into my schedule, and I've forcibly shifted that schedule back several hours to give me more time during the day before my kitchen and gym obligations kick in, so we'll see how that works. Unfortunately it'll take at least a week for my body to catch up to the idea that my schedule has shifted, but this week will be taken up by BGG con, so since I had to do it anyway it may as well be this week.
In other news, the RV that I will be moving into will probably not arrive until March, so that's both good and bad news. Good news in that I have time to complete my body recomp, bad news in that I'd really kinda expected to be able to move into a smaller space and out of the house sooner. I know it's odd: most people want more space. I actually want less. Less to clean, less to care for, less everything. The house I'm in is just me and my two dogs, and it's too much space for me. I'm having the garage reconverted into an actual garage again (Right now it's essentially a storage room) and having the ceilings redone. After that I'm having new carpet put in, and I'm redoing some of the elements in the kitchen, new countertops and backsplash mostly. Then I'll put a renter in and get the Fck out of here. Go chase the good weather and spend a few years toodling around in the national parks while I write.
That's the plan anyway.
As for the writing list, just to review, Mountain King Saga 1 will be out next. After that comes Celestine Chronicles book 6, which will end that series, and after THAT I will either do MKS 2 or start a second new series I've been kicking around for a while called TAP. Whichever of those I do, the other will be after that, and then I'll either alternate or stick with MKS until it's done. I have another project I want to start as well, but putting too many balls in the air at once is probably a bad idea, at least until I get a better handle on writing within a timeframe.
On a purely personal note, I do quite like the new keyboard, which is an ergodox. You can find them here. Once you get used to it, it's really handy being able to swap out keys and switch what keys do what, and being able to have multiple layers, including a mouse layer if you want one, makes having a mouse entirely optional (unless you play games. If you do that, keep the damn mouse). But you can macro the SHIT out of this thing, and being able to reposition your hands whenever you want, change angles independently, is really nice for not having hand cramps etc. There is a learning curve for sure though, and be careful, cause you may ruin yourself for normal keyboards. I personally had to change some of my passwords because I had them hand-memorized, which didn't translate at all.

This other story you have, Mountain King Saga. What should we expect of this new series?
