After more thought on the Dramafest LOL

When it comes to your sexual kinks, on public forums., keep your PRIVATE life private, and if you fail to follow that, DON'T mention any group you are associated with when failing to keep it private. To make a point:
"I/we am/are into having sex in fursuit"
vs
"I/we am/are a furry and like having sex in fursuit"
One is a person fetish. The other is dragging the fandom into it by proxy. That is where they showed a lack of judgment. And the posts Chewfox had ahead of time (announcing the show) on how she wanted to "represent the fandom" shows me one thing:
She wanted 15 minutes of fame, at the fandoms expense.

That is all I have to say. I have talked about this enough, and I am dead tired. GOODNIGHT.
THANK YOU.
that whole 'no such thing as bad publicity' doesn't apply to the fandom.. we have plenty of publicity, we need better kind. and it was a TV show about sexual fettishes, so havign a 'normal' furry couple wouldn't work well. things they at least got right in the show;
They said that being a furry was about animal inside and not 'about sex'
They mentioned conventions for getting together with people, and that we danced
They mentioned the art part of the furry fandom.
the actual pair were at least actually furries this time instead of just actors with 'Lol Furries' as a character motivation
It's not all that bad considering. things that it could have turned into but didn't:
- Not a couple that were morbidly obese
- Not a gay couple. Furries are pretty okay with it, but general world still taboo.
- Not into beastiality/plushophelia/pedophelia, and they actually say they're against beastiality
- Not into group sex, partner-swapping, voyeurism, that the TV show actually highlighted as other 'normal' people doing it.
All in all, considering what past publicity is, and everything it could have turned into, it wasn't that bad.. you'll see a worse side of the furry fandom by just hitting browse on FA.. with running across cub art, scat, macro, snuff, vore, and everything else that runs into the WTF realms that would be imposibly in real life (thankfully)
