Well, I guess the South Korean public was satisfied with the response of the government to the COVID19 outbreak. I do think that the ROK did well in handling the outbreak, especially compared to say the United States, the PRC or Japan.
The conservative party suffered a major defeat. Considering their crudeness and incompetence, this perhaps was an inevitable result, but this means that the current ruling party would succeed in concealing their corruption and the Chinese influence on SK would strengthen. Amendment of constitution is within possiblity. Not a good news for economy as well, as current levels of minimum wage and corporation tax would remain unchanged, if not increased.
