Expanding Business

If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe - Carl Sagan
I hadn't realized how long it's been since I made a journal here. A lot has changed since then, but I think that can be said for all of us. I hope yall have been doing well and staying safe.
I'm mostly making this journal to update yall on my plans. I've been out of a job since April, and given the US's handling of this outbreak, I feel like my safest option for the foreseeable future is to try to work from home. I've spent the last couple months adjusting to everything and figuring out how to manage myself, and I think I've finally got a sustainable work flow.
This has been the case for a bit now, but I'm making it official. I'm going to try to make a living off commissions and patreon support.
Regarding Commissions
I'm opening for commissions, and I've adjusted my rates. Shorter stories haven't increased in price much, and I'm still offering vignettes at their own rate. Longer works are going to be higher priced though. They take longer to plan and edit than shorter ones, so this will close that cap a little. My rates are on my commissio page, and if you have any questions, I'm more than happy to answer them here or there.
Regarding Patreon
It's going to be more than a tip jar with early access. I want to start doing patreon exclusive work, and I've already got a series for that planned out. I'll start drafting it next month, and I'll open up the tier when I have one or two chapters ready to go
I'm also bringing back the vignette tier, but it will be at a slightly higher price. I'm still deciding how many to open, but my supporters will have some advanced notice when I do.
I also have a discord server. I'm not ready to take it public, but it's open to my supporters right now.
If you've read this far, thank you. It's because of your support I feel like this option is even a possibility, and I'm excited to see how this works out
