Getting your opinions! Streams, Patreon, & More!
Hello There!
going forward i plan to do a lot more with my art and a lot more with you guys!
So because this is for you guys, i want your opinions!
1) Should I stream art on
A) Picarto B)Twitch
ive been streaming on picarto for years now on and off but lots of people have said that twitch may be easier for you guys, i dont mind either, im down regardless of platform :)
2) should i set a stream schedule or keep it on a "when i feel like it" basis.
3) should i start a patreon? if so, what kind of things should i offer? lots of people on facebook keep bringing up patreon for NSFW work, animations, and sketchs, but idk what i want yet, if anything.
4) what kind of content do you guys what to see more from me?! Adopts, commission slots, animations, etc?
5) finally
do you guys prefer commissioning me through notes or should i set up a google doc for commissions? :)
thanks for reading and leaving your opinions, feel free to be as honest as you need! information helps me give you guys what you guys like to see better!

Maybe you could try streaming on different platforms at different times? either scheduled or just alternate, so people could join with the platform they prefer?
when you stream is really up to you, if it's more so for fun then do it when you feel like, if it's something you want to take in a more serious direction then having a schedule would be useful for letting people know when to expect a stream and plan time for it c: (keep in mind where most of your following is geographically and try to plan around that, or have alternating times through the month so anyone who can't make it at your usual time can join in too!)
not too sure about patreon, maybe post WIPs there? maybe speedpaints if you make those, or offer something extra for patreon supporters with their commissions (e.g free shading on a flatcolour commission, or a free speedpaint of their commission). i know many people have a tier for like $1 if they just want to support with no strings attached, I think it's probably worth experimenting to see what tiers and rewards are popular with your following
I've been enjoying your general art for the moment, animations are really fun too! (obviously though if you're trying to make an earning then just these aren't optimal haha)
I'm generally more comfortable staying on-site for any communications, maybe have the option to commission you through docs, it'll make it easier for people who don't have an account are found you while browsing (they don't have to go through the trouble of creating an account to commission you, the easier the process is for them the better :p)
hope my opinions can help you somewhat! c:
i think you bring up some really good points i hadnt considered!
2 : Schedules are nice, but "When I feel it" is actually better for me personally because it means I can sometimes catch stuff after work so... do what feels good for you?
3: No opinion on patreon
4: I'd like to snag comms from you, naturally, but again, do what feels good to you.
5 : Google Docs is probably easier to track (Something like Trello might be good too)
