Covid is not fun. -personal-

I recovered from surgery and got smacked by covid despite my attempts to be safe. Mask wearing, all the time washing, got my first vaccine shot, I feel betrayed.
My husband is covid positive, and I’m deep into the symptoms. He started out with a hard cough but we’re going into the fifth day with him having more mild symptoms. With me I’ve got this dry, fiery cough that feels like I’m pushing my heart out of my mouth, it’s exhausting.
I keep thinking about how we can’t afford to be hospitalized, how our cats need our direct care constantly. I’m scared and tired.
