Not good news...

Heya...
Apologies if this is too personal; but I wanted to let you guys know whats happening on my end...especially when its something like this...
I wanted to give a bit of a heads up that art and responses will be slow again.
I got a call from my dad that my sister passed away this morning...
im honestly still in a state of shock, but...i gotta be strong for my familys sake..
Ive never lost anyone close to me before; not like this, it still feels unreal. But im currently surrounded by amazingly caring friends and family; ill be okay. So im not alone
so yea...things will be slow again and im not really sure when ill bounce back;; Im sorry;;
thank you for understanding; dont be afraid to ask questions if i owe you a patron reward or commission, ill be as honest as i always been <3
Edit: Thank you all for your kind words. im absolutely speechless. I just arrived back home with family; but once i get the chance, ill try my best to give each of you a reply. I know things will get better with time; as of right now, I think im going to take some time for myself. Thank you all again for your kind words and understanding.
And for those who have also lost a closed loved one; every single one of you have my sincerest condolences. No one deserves to go through this; but I hope you also take the time to heal as well

I can’t even imagine what you’re going through right now. I lost a brother to a miscarriage years ago, but I feel like that doesn’t even compare, since you knew her as a person, made memories with her...
Take your time. Don’t be afraid to be emotional, don’t let your desire to “be strong” come before your own emotional needs. You and your family have friends for that kind of support. It’s natural to mourn such a loss, for a time.
It’s going to be okay. You’re going to be okay. You’re still here, you still have a life to live, as your sister would want you to. But there’s no hurry. Take care of yourself.
It's so strange... I didn't lose anyone close to me through the pandemic, and yet the most common automobile accident has now taken someone I haven't seen in years. I wish you the best, and my condolences on your most personal loss.
We are all here if you for you if you need us.

I'm still trying to come to terms with my father passing away, and that was nearly 4 years ago. It's not the kind of thing you just 'get over' in a day. I understand that perfectly. I don't mean to be an echo, but, you take as long as you need.
Please, take your time to recover <3

that's horrible. No one deserves to lose someone like that.
I've lost loved ones, though none as close as that. The worst pain for me was when my dogs died. They were my best friends and I still feel like I haven't fully recovered from losing them myself. I can't imagine the loss of an immediate family member. You have my deepest sympathies.
Lost my mom last week. Its definitely something thats gonna take time to heal from :(
