Time for a update
Thanks to everyone who helped by donating and sharing my go fund me page. It’s been just over 3 months since my surgery and recovery has been a lot slower than expected, but I can once again touch my toes. Unfortunately I’m nowhere near being physically able to return to my career as a auto technician/fabricator best estimate is may of 2022 before I’ll be able to get back to full time work as a tech. Currently I’m looking for a job that uses my knowledge and experience without the physical labor part but haven’t been able to land a job yet. Really hoping I can find something soon as bills have been piling up and even with the help I’ve received from friends and family it’s like a hammer hanging over my head about to come crashing down.
On the brighter side my overall pain has been significantly reduced! The only real pain I have now is from the vertebrae that was filed down and the surrounding muscles that need to be rebuilt. Still haven’t regained my ability to control my bladder (fortunately I already have experience with proper protection) but it’s still possible I’ll regain control since it can take a long time for nerves to heal. Overall I’m hopeful that this surgery was the right decision and I will be able to live my life again without constant pain.
My go fund me page is still up if anyone wants to help spread the word or possibly donate. Every little bit helps. https://gofund.me/510255d5
Again thank you to everyone who has been there for me, I really don’t know how to express just how much it means to me to have wonderful friends like you.
