If There's No Wedding Reception, The Gargoyle King Has Wo...

I can't believe that it's been so long since I wrote another journal entry! Two years doesn't seem like that long ago, but time flies when you're kept busy. ^_^
Anyway, I wanted to bring up one thing in particular with this new entry. That being I'm going to revise earlier chapters A Wish Full of Dreams and repost them here and elsewhere in the coming months.
Originally, when I wrote those earlier chapters and posted them here years ago, I didn't envision the world that would spring up from them. They were about Tyson and his guardian spirit Trace. In the years that followed, this story began to encompass not only Tyson's journey to find his lost friend, Daeja, but a much larger world with a much larger cast and MANY more moving parts. In fact, most of what you see on this page directly grew out of that short story I wrote so many years ago.
However, I feel like there's a disconnect between what I wrote back then and what the story grew into years later. In order to rectify this, I felt it necessary to revise those earlier chapter to reflect the narrative I now want to tell. With this in mind, I plan on starting from the very beginning to smooth over whatever wrinkles I find. That way the story I present is more in line with the world that I've come to love exploring.
So if you're at all curious, I plan to start revising some time soon, and you should see more from me in that regard in the coming months!
Thank you so much for reading all this weird stuff! ^-^

I think it's brilliant that you want to go back to the beginning and refine it to better fit the evolution and progression of your incredible tale. Besides all the other markers of your writing talent (like the actual beautiful writing itself, or any of your colorful and well-developed characters), being willing to and knowing when to rewrite is super important and the mark of a truly exceptional creator.
I wish you fun and inspiration in reworking your beginning to better fit the world that grew around it. I cannot WAIT to see the updates, my friend. You AND your story are truly amazing <3
I wholeheartedly agree. I think going back to where it began if only to make everything feel more cohesive is the next logical step! I didn't have all this in mind when I first began, so why not smooth out any wrinkles now that the story has grown so much bigger? :3
As always, I deeply appreciate your kindness and encouragement, FC! I'm so very eager to share the fruits of my labor with you and everyone else, as well! So much of this wouldn't exist without your involvement as well! If not for your talent and determination, so many of my characters wouldn't have any art at all! You're a wonderful person yourself, FC, and I'm so grateful to work with you so frequently. :)
