This is a status update to tell you that the first part of the Finale of American Canine Alpha, "Kiss My Vote Goodbye" will go live tomorrow, September 19!
Part 2 will be revealed Monday 22, and Part 3 on Friday 26!
We're close to declaring the big winner of ACA, so stay tuned!

We're proud to announce that American Canine Alpha is good to go!
On FRIDAY, JUNE 27th, we will debut the first half of Episode 2, "Throw Him To The Wolves" - and with that, this season will officially be on a roll!
From that on - every week on FRIDAY, we will post the first half of each episode, while on MONDAY you'll get the second part where you'll get to see which of the 13 finalists will abandon the competition.
If you'd like to catch up on the Episode 1, "I Oughta Go Mark My Territory", where 46 became 13, this week is the perfect opportunity to do so before the season officially gets rolling!

AMERICAN CANINE ALPHA: INTRODUCTION + EPISODE 1 REVEAL

We're writing this journal to update you on American Canine Alpha, our upcoming writing project that we'll be posting on this profile, starting this last May.
Now, if you're wondering what is American Canine Alpha, let us elaborate.
About 5 years ago, we started this FA page with an idea of creating our very own large story project once we were out of a previous creative writing group, and we conceived the idea of American Mustelid Alpha - a TV show crowning the strongest, most domineering everyday American mustelid through challenges and strategy. This initial idea grew up before our eyes and became the biggest story project we ever set on together, spanning ten chapters and countless hours of planning writing, editing and just discussing our characters at length until we got tired, so pretty much always :)

Alpha was - and is - a written story project based on a reality show we created from the ground up, inspired by several current and past shows which involve physical and mental challenges (Survivor, The Challenge, Steve Austin's Broken Skull Challenge, Fear Factor, and many others). We aimed to create a different reality TV story in an episodical way, with decisions and turns based on random engine rolls and stats we built ourselves in our little Google Sheets document. Yes, the great majority of challenge results are based on random rolls as opposed to author's intent, our own input mostly coming on when social cues and IC decisions are concerned.
Our main goal with Alpha is both a celebration and redefinition of masculinity, aiming to showcase all the different spectrums of it while ensuring to shine a positive light on what such an ideal could be.
We wrote and ran the first season around 5 years ago during the time period where nothing really of note happened that made us have a ton of free time to get those ideas from our heads to text. And once that was wrapped, we aimed to do it all over again, but this time, we let the dogs out!
American Canine Alpha is the second installation of the Alpha franchise. We began writing it in June 2021 with the goal of making it larger, better, and really aiming to create a second season where we learned from the snags of our first try. We have ran the whole season already, and we're virtually complete with the story as of this date.
Now, despite the unexpected downtime of FA, we have uploaded all the 46 biographies of the canines taking part on this big story project. (having homepage exposure privileges for all that time was a nice perk, tho). You can catch them all here:

The first episode, "I Oughta Go Mark My Territory", will be a three-parter debuting in segments, where those 46 dogs will go through different challenges and get eliminated in the process. Once we reach the very end of Episode 1, you will see which of those 46 come out as finalists, when the game will become serious. Each week, we will see one by one get eliminated until one remains to be crowned the American Canine Alpha.
The schedule of Episode 1, "I Oughta Go Mark My Territory", is as follows:
Part 1 - May 12th
Part 2 - May 14th
Part 3 - May 16th
Soon after that, we will start debuting each episode on a WEEKLY basis, with the first parts on Fridays, and second parts on Mondays, so you will want to stay tuned and up to date!

And now, we're proud to say: We're doing it all over again... with a twist!
While the first season was all about badgers, weasels, otters, and all those animals of the mustelid persuasion, season 2 is all about finding who'll be the top dog among all.
That's right, for American Canine Alpha is coming live soon, right here in HeadQuarters' FA page!
For those uninitiated, American Canine Alpha is set to be a reality show-based story where canine fellas of all kinds from all corners of the United States will take on a series of physical, mental, and strategic challenges, where in the end, one will get to be named the American Canine Alpha!

AMA AMA (AAMMAA) + Update!

Giving a status update on behalf of the duo, and wishing you have had a good 2021 so far!
We're both starting on new jobs and going over what do write about next when we are free, so thank you for the patience in this little radio silence we had.
While the big project that kickstarted this was wrapped a little while ago, you best believe we're still talking about the future! One-shot stories or future big projects, as long as Harlow and Qovapryi are together, something will always be a'cooking!
Meanwhile, I (Harlow) had a little idea of going over an AMA of AMA, if you had any questions you were curious about us two, you can ask us! Be it from the series or not, as a group or if you want to ask one of us specific things, feel free to ask and we'll answer asap!

Giving a status update on behalf of the duo, and wishing you have had a good 2021 so far!
We're both starting on new jobs and going over what do write about next when we are free, so thank you for the patience in this little radio silence we had.
While the big project that kickstarted this was wrapped a little while ago, you best believe we're still talking about the future! One-shot stories or future big projects, as long as Harlow and Qovapryi are together, something will always be a'cooking!
Meanwhile, I (Harlow) had a little idea of going over an AMA of AMA, if you had any questions you were curious about us two, you can ask us! Be it from the series or not, as a group or if you want to ask one of us specific things, feel free to ask and we'll answer asap!

Thanks so much to our readers for sticking with this first ambitious project born out of the minds and whims of two best friends separated by the Atlantic!
And with that, the first season is a wrap! Even if it'll take a brainstorm or two, we will keep thinking and working over new stories, new ideas, new shows and everything that could be possible for us both.
