I am now down to 13 days to Pay or Quit for the room I'm renting if I'm unable to secure the rest of the funds I need, which is $2,200 for back Utilities. I'm currently at $600 due to some very important bills that had to be paid. This unfortunately came out of what funds I had already received.
If I can please get some friends here to at least share this on their feeds, it would help me get this out there, and if you can donate even a little, it will help toward my goal.

Things have stalled a bit, and as of tonight, I am $1,300 short of what I owe to the landlord for past utilities. I only have 30 days to pay or clear out.

In Danger of losing my housing.

Tonight I was given my 60 Day Notice to pay or vacate the room I've been living in for almost 6 years.
Times have been tough since September when I was laid off early from my Contract. Since then I've been working very hard to find gainful employment, but my finances are / were not great.
I've had help in the past with rent, but my utilities have slipped. I now owe $3200 for back utilities and $800 for February Rent.
I have opened a GoFundme with the hope that I can get enough to pay off this debt, and hopefully have enough left over for future bills and car repairs.
I have some strong leads for jobs, and I'm hoping one pans out quickly.
If you can please share this with your followers, it would be very, very helpful, since the more places it reaches, the better traction it gets.

Unfortunately, the Tech market is rife with 'Ghost jobs' and companies that decided to use AI to make their hiring decisions. This has made things extremely difficult, and even worse, Ageism is very real here. I'm 48 now and it seems no one wants someone with age and experience, because we know what we're worth.
I've even gone as far as apply for 'blue collar' jobs, and not one peep either.
I've exhausted all of my resources and all of my savings. My Food Stamps (EBT) is dry until 2/2.
My rent is due 2/5, I can probably push it a bit, but if I can't, I'll be forced to move. To where, I have no idea right now.

Been a while - Unexpected Car Repair Bill

For those individuals who have helped so far, I really appreciate it.
This last week, the clutch in my car failed unexpectedly while I was driving. Luckily I was able to baby it to work and back home (barely). This set me back $600 that I really didn't have so I'm back in a hole.
I have a GoFundMe to help with this very unexpected repair bill and hopefully I can raise enough to fix some other broken items to get it back on the road.
For now I can take Public transit too / from work.

It's been, well, it feels a lifetime now since March 2020. I've had two birthdays now, I'm fully vaxxed, and now I'm just waiting for things to improve. I haven't seen my GF since March 2020, so things have been...frustrating.
With that though, I've had a number of bad turns, both emotionally, mentally, physically and financially.
I've been dealing with a shit Credit union for better part of 6 months now and I've finally managed to shed them off, but with that came a ton of burden. I'm way overdue on Rent, Storage fees and pretty much everything.
My two *most* important is Rent and Storage, essentially my entire life, therefore I made a GoFundMe to help out.
If you're able, please share amongst your friends, and doubly so, if you're able to donate just a little, it would help to keep a roof over my head.

New job & Moving!

I've got a new job, which means for me no more contract work, as this is a full time, direct hire position. I'll be working for Northrop Grumman, as IT Support.
This also means I will be moving closer to the job, but they don't provide relocation assistance. I've gone ahead and set up a GoFundMe to help with those costs. Anything will help or if you could share as well it would be great.

On that note, I wanted to ask everyone here if they know where I could get a small Loan to help out with food, transportation and other things before I start my new job on January 8th. My credit is pretty crappy, and I'd rather not deal with shady lenders who would charge 400% interest. I figure I'd need, to be on the safe side, $1,000 that I can start paying back once I get my first paycheck. However it seems like even the minimum here in Cali is $2,600 for any kind of loan.
If you have any suggestions, or can help, it'd be great!

I'm curious if there is any of my watchers who live out that way, or nearby, who would want to get coffee or something while I'm out there?
