Been a long time...
Posted 14 years agoOk, I have to admit it’s been a really long time… a year. It will be a bit but I am cleaning up and planning what to do with the group. Aros and I didn’t want to really give up on our brain baby, but life and procrastination and more life got in the way of things so we neglected it badly. Things will probably have to change before either of us picks this group back up. But you will all have to keep track of the journals till then.
In the mean time, old rules will still apply, though I will not be posting any new digest, until things get more situated. I’ll add the people that asked to join, via note, and if any of you wish to join send us a note asking so. But don’t ask us to post your story in the digest, and all notes that were asking so during our ‘vacation’ will get deleted sorry to say.
On a personal note I am surprised and actually happy that we got as far as we did, and thank you all very much for your support, from watches or just showing an interest enough to view the page to even those that sent in stories they wanted critique and views from. It’s very fulfilling to see and idea you came up with come to life and do well.
So yeah, stay tuned as alwasy and I will hope to have this place back up for business soon!
Thanks again

O wow, you guys have once again amazed us with you support, bringing in a big list of watchers over the past month as well as new blood to our group. We thank all of you for being patient with us and proving to us over the time that we do have a good and growing fan base.
A few minor things I will bring up though, is that we have updated the guidelines posted in the page a bit concerning sending us notes for your story. Also not mention on there is that by sending us a story for critique your asking to join our group, and will be treated as a member. And one last note, we would like to ask people not to post up links to their stories in our shout box. A few new people posted up link that aren’t getting submitted because of that and if it continues member or not we will have to block you for a short time after a fair warning of course.
Without further ado, here is your digest.

A few things before we go about this weeks digest. One sorry for skipping out on last week, I wanted to test and see if we should try bi weekly or just twice a month to see if it would be easier. It didn’t feel right so we will be back to a bi weekly posting.
Two I am not pointing out anybody but please you guys Read our rules and guidelines for not only joining but submitting stories. Please I cant stress this enough that most of you are writers yet don’t seem to read the rules before going about what you do. If you have questions about the rules we don’t mind if you post them in the shout box or sending Aroslion or Bluedude a note for a faster response. Thank you.

The Writers Block never dies, it just take vacations!!
Posted 15 years agoWe are not dead, just being lazy from the holidays -3- He sleeps mostly and takes naps and I just act lazy and eat for winter. Ok now all jokes aside we have been on a very bad neglect streak and were sorry for that. We don’t have much else of an excuse beside that.
Now for a little but of an update, we will now be moving to a bi-weekly or every other week posting of the digest due to lack of submissions during some weeks. We understand that not every week is going to be full of stories, but we appreciate everyone that supported us and flooded us with stories when they saw we had nothing for that week. You guys have been very supportive of us and we need to show our appreciation to you guys better then this.
Also we, or one of us, have been stalking the FA forums Writers Bloc section and you might see some updates or link there every now and then.
Lastly we will begin re-posting of the digest this January 1st 2010. And the next will be posted back on its regularly Sunday schedule (I.e. the 13th) so now’s the time to either join or submit something to us for the new years.
We hope you had a happy holiday and enjoy the New Year!!
~Writers Block
P.S. If you’ve already submitted something to us we will be sure to post it up with the digest.

Also, we want to let you guys know about
fawriters, another writing group here on FurAffinity. They're more focused on being a helpful community than providing an outlet for critique, so include both of us (please?) and get double the fun. They've got a lot of helpful guides and a few other stories with critique requests that could certainly use your help.

This week’s exercise is simple, seeing as most of you all are going back to school could you write one paragraph, describing your feelings or thought processes as you walk back into the hollowed halls off higher education! Post it here as a reply if you’d like or on your page and link it.
