Second poem Hope you like it.
Eternal Sleep
I see him lying there
So helpless. Alone. Cold
I hope that within this sleep of his
He will find a way back to us.
This sleep.
It seems unnatural
He seems so calm
As if having a pleasant and peaceful dream.
He lies there
Alive.
Yet forever sleeping.
I cannot seem to find a way to him.
He moves and I gasp.
He settles and I mourn.
He is forever sleeping in his own world.
He seems to know what is going to happen.
I whimper.
He is losing his grip.
He is slowly fading away.
I call to him.
He is turning pale
He is slowly fading away.
I must help him
By joining him in his eternal sleep.
