Lupina (from my novel "Family Tails") has arrived in Fairbanks, Alaska. :)

I drew Lupina using a 0.5 mm mechanical pencil with HB lead, various blending and shading tools, on Georgia-Pacific "Everyday Copy & Print" paper. The background is an actual photo of the Fairbanks welcome sign located on Airport Way just before the Mitchell Highway underpass. I used Pixlr.com to combine the images and do the necessary adjustments.
