Love the shading in the last panel! It feels like these shots are much more close up than in prior pages.
I also absolutely love the bond happening between Kass and the Matriarch. It feels like she's trying to beam the message "I KNOW they're shitty, please, please, please put up with this garbage that I deal with DAYLY just a little bit longer..." into his head. XD

Oh I just love all that is on display here. Your skills are impressive with the layout, coloring and shading in the panels above. Let alone the story. Such world building is a nice touch, and variety of the personalities.
Kattajak is real go getter, has some zeal to him and perhaps just a smidge crazy. And dark & brooding Beizel so serious and almost detached from the proceedings. He really is like a Yinglet Batman. And who could miss patriarch Poak's reaction, is he doing that because of Lady Kass or because her headdress reminds him of something tasty? Then there is Narklet who graces us with his words. He seems a rather well spoken and intelligent yinglet as well as a yinglet with an mind for tradition. I am curious to know more of these traditions he speaks of. Let's not forget how Vizlet seems to be winging it, she seems rather uncomfortable with the idea of not having a plan.
Wonderfully done and intriguing. I will be looking forwards to more.

Thats it Vizlet keep digging that hole if you sell the bull well enough no one will realize how close you are skating to disaster, except Beizel he will probably have it all figured out shortly as that is part of his job. Also Poak's reaction just pushes that Kass will be a bit... annoyed when she finds out just what those blue leaves mean.
Actually, their "th" difficulty is due to their front teeth preventing the sound, whereas the "sh" syllable can be approximated by pulling the tongue towards the back of the roof of the mouth and making the sound. The inflection is a bit different, but maintains the "sh" sound!
WHY YES I HAVE THOUGHT OF THIS BEFOREHAND
WHY YES I HAVE THOUGHT OF THIS BEFOREHAND
I bet Vizlet is just making up shit as she goes along. Her first and foremost lie is stating that Kass wished to come before them in the dress, as if he had a choice. I'd say the manner of Kassen's ear-piercing being tradition was a bunch of baloney sandwich as well if it weren't for Narklet's comment. Unless Vizlet was indeed making it up and Narklet was thinking, "Tradition you say? Well then, that's fabulous!"
About Kattajak, he gives me an Australian hunter kind of vibe. Ya know? He's the wrestle-an-alligator type. Except, he's a yinglet, so it's probably more like wrestle-the-baby-alligator. Also, I feel like he's the type to go on about long stories occasionally using hunter lingo or some kind of slang that few would understand.
