Axis of Conflict - Chapter 8: Camspite Three
Turnteyl awakens in a medical tent of Kamp Ttry surrounded by new kin including the Kin City's only female lacerta, S'cels'cok, and an evolving set of moral dilemmas – the greatest of which may involve the removal of her badly wounded arm. S'celback, the tera partly responsible for her predicament, has gone missing, and the camp leader, Mavrik, seems distracted, despite his best attempts to be helpful. But even a kin settlement that specifically fled because of rampant secrets seems to have trouble keeping their own.
