Most of the journey to the city is done in silence. Even at the pace I’ve set it’ll take us a bit over an hour to make it, a bit longer if it looks like Benny would need a break. I know this pace will be a piece of cake for me and shouldn’t be too much of an issue for Maria. As for Benny, I’m not sure. There’s a big smile plastered on his face every time I glance back but it’s clear he’s clearly pushing himself quite hard. I feel it would be unfair to him to consider him lazy, but he tends to be on the opposite end of the spectrum to Kramer and Maria when it comes to training. Kramer starts getting antsy if he hasn’t worked out recently and Maria’s always striving to improve herself, if nothing else than to keep up with me.

Benny, however. If put to a task he’ll do it without complaint and has maintained a competency that he’s stayed on the roster for when my counterpart does engage in full six-pokemon battles. But if left to his own devices, he’s the least likely to engage in any sort of training himself. He’d happily watch others train and make sure that they can be the best they can be, but simply won’t try and better himself if not told to.
