As we’re getting close to the city I see someone coming up towards us while heading the other way. Even though we should theoretically be fine I slow down and stop, just in case. There are a number of issues that I can think of on why they would create an issue for us, but I also know it shouldn’t be a problem. There are three of us all travelling together on an open road. Especially considering the festival going on. As they approach I notice their head bobbing up and down in time with the music coming from some earbuds. As they notice us they don’t even slow down their walking speed but instead just raise a hand up and wave at us. I respond by waving a couple of my tails at them and I notice both Maria and Benny waving in response and I can see a little grin on the human’s face but they don’t slow down or stop, simply adjusting their path slightly to give us a bit of room as they walk around us. Once they’ve passed us I start walking again, sure that the two would have appreciated the brief break as well. Hopefully the entire night is able to run this smoothly.
