Once we’ve spent enough time sitting in front of the ice sculptures I stand up and nudge Maria to start moving on. As much as we probably could spend the entire night sitting by an ice constructed validation of Maria’s efforts, to be honest I’d probably be chewed out quite a bit by Him that I got to go here when He could not and then didn’t see even a fraction of what the festival has to offer. As we leave and head back towards the throngs of individuals I see someone try to get our attention. I look and see them holding up a rather expensive looking camera. Internally I’m somewhat conflicted as a photo of two of His pokemon with me would be all the easier to cross-reference and figure out who I am, but Maria decides to settle it by wrapping an arm around my neck to pull in close. I sit down in response to provide a better photo and put the thoughts behind me for the most part. I smile as best I can as the photographer takes the photo and then thanks us and keeps moving on. Would be interesting to figure out how to get a copy of that image but don’t really know how to ask in my current form.
