With the trigger already taking effect he closes the blinds so that no one would be able to casually see what’s going on. The bigger issue for tonight is what to do about Maria. Though she’s been a real help, the fact remains that what we’re planning tonight is not something that would be considered all that legal. And if I brought her with us, then her entire career would be over. Given my condition the worst that can really happen to me is I get caught and sold. I’m taking the fight to Rocket this time and I don’t mean to simply play by the rules. I have an excuse in that I’m not a registered pokemon. For her, though, this could quite easily end up with her getting barred from any pokemon event, and quite possibly him expelled too, though that’s less a concern for us.

But at the same time it wouldn’t be fair to lie. It’s not right to ask her to do this and it’s not right to lie, so the best course of action would probably just be straight forward with everything, let her know that I fully intend on running right at the wall and don’t care what the consequences are. The longer they’re allowed to just keep doing this unchecked, the more people will fall prey to my condition.
