“There’s a full squad of us. Only a few in this location because we didn’t know if you’d show up or not. But this was the closest Rocket facility that we know of that’s close to your home so would be the most likely first target. We have a few others waiting at other nearby facilities just in case and a few birds watching for you. But we’re making this an official Op,” he says, reaching behind his back and seems to rummage around in some sort of bag at his back. After a second he pulls out what looks like a couple of necklaces holding a large bit or either metal or plastic fashioned after some sort of blue flower.

“What’s with the flower?” Maria asks.

“They’re to designate that you are considered a part of the force for the night. This is something that the mayor has approved. We will assist you in whatever purpose you have here, and in exchange you will be assisting us taking these facilities down and arresting any Rocket members we encounter. Doing it this way makes it seem like you’re working for him. And also makes him look tough on crime.”

“I’m not planning on playing nice,” I say in response, still staring at him skeptically. “I have no intention of waiting until my condition triggers to bite them. I fully intend on ignoring every single pokemon and just going after the people, using my teeth to end the fights.”

“That is fine, you’d be biting a few of them anyway.”
