The third location is much more aware of us coming and have a force ready. I’m definitely glad for the assistance at this point because we would quickly be getting to the point that I would likely be overwhelmed in the assault trying to do this with just me and Maria. Though realistically speaking I doubt the two of us would have even been able to reach this location before the night had finished. Because they were outnumbering us and prepared we end up having to coordinate our attacks and there are a few times I have to even contribute by using actual moves to help out in the engagement. But the problem with Rocket is that they are still in the same situation as before when I was up against four of them at once. None of their pokemon seem at all capable of focusing on more than one target at a time, whereas most of us are used to an ongoing threat assessment. Meaning so many more instances of Rocket pokemon being hit in the back from an opponent they weren’t watching. But of course I make sure to keep my priority to taking out the trainers first rather than deal with the pokemon as much as I can, though I did end up having the compulsion take over once, though they weren’t planning on it and thus couldn’t punish me for it. And as soon as it’s starting to be clear we are down to little more than mop-up duty I make my way to the archives.
