<<< PREV | FIRST | NEXT >>>Finally done with part 3! This one was a bit difficult to write, but I can say things are going to take a sharp turn for certain. Adding certain keywords not for spoilers but for anybody with sensitivities on particular situations.
Anyway I'm exhausted now lol. Part 4 will be the final part in the "Year One" portion of this story and I'm definitely going to take a mental break before getting back to the the captivity story. I may be a little bit of a method writer? (like a method actor? I don't know if there's a writer version) and need something fun after this.
Questions or comments welcome! I appreciate them all!

Hello? A psychotic character? Oh my favourite.
Poor Shelby, at least you have one good thing to look at: you're still alive, which is better than the last psycho I knew who used a tool that was for cattle on people in literature.
I'm also a method writer, it helps to bring more life to the characters. Though it can be unhealthy.
Hope you have a better time coming up with whatever fun story you hope to write.

Crazy's gonna crazy! Is she still alive though?? I guess I'm my own spoiler there. It's like when you watch a prequel to something and they put a main character in danger lol.
I find it helps to get into the mood of the character for sure, and I am also extremely imaginative. Too much so sometimes. I like to say I have Walter Mitty syndrome.
Fun story is already hashed out, I'll have it up soonish lol. Thank you for the fav!!

It can work if the tension feels high; take Fargo for example. The first season shows the second seasons main character and yet we always feel like he could in the second season.
"I am also extremely imaginative." Me too!
Look forward to it.

Yikes! I think I much prefer Sir William Aethewulf's treatment of Shelby more: he might be calling her a Satan-worshipping witch, but at least he wants to get things over with and move on in as humane (at least given his occupation and the situation) a way as possible.
