Considering there’s nothing in the contract that directly states or implies that retaliation, or declaring war on the fae is prohibited, it shouldn’t necessarily be impossible to exterminate the fae hive when it doesn’t contradict the “plot”.
That said, “Cycle?” Virmir agreed to replace the life he took, but that shouldn’t be done repeatedly when “replacing” usually involves at least an equivalent or greater amount ONCE. I definitely wouldn’t honour any contract that demands more than what should be expected, no offence.

He did, or at least tried to. Apparently, only fae can read their own “writings”, which is why Virmir is able to read it now that he’s turning into fae.
With the fae about to polymorph him into a tree for crushing lilies, Virmir said he’d replace the plants he crushed. Funny that after the fae got him to agree to replace *all* the life he took, there’s nothing in the contract about the flowers he promised to replace.
So it’s not unreasonable to rebel against a contract that doesn’t include what was originally intended, even if Virmir “technically” agreed to make up for the fae he swatted as well.
