It’s one thing to resent others, but after that excessive amount of overkill, even Brand would feel bit fearful, being in the body of a quetz.
Also, Brand has shown that he can put aside his dislikes for quetz, otherwise he would have ran Saida out of his cave after his wings were “seized”, wouldn’t have went to their territory or even see their Queen again.

Maybe. He might have the attention of some heavy players now, but he's also got a device that can pull manna/souls out of the living, and a perfect ghost if he can hold them off out of it.
It's a bit of gambling, but you are right that Suzocon probably doesn't like the uncertainty all this is bringing.

If I were Vetra-jou, I'd set up well out of range of his tricks, and just start shelling him. No monologuing. No indignancy. Just blast his eight tailed ass back to the pits he came from. He ate her bodyguard and burned the other two. That's causus belli right there.
Of course, the first time she hits him with the "Eyestone" it's going to turn into a bottlecap, and guess who is right there to blame? This is going to rapidly turn to farce.

Suzokon-kyo is not yet a god, and that's the point of the whole arc. He wants to finally achieve godhood. Believe me, he wouldn't be cussing a blue streak (Virmir style) if he had any power to interrupt Purple Guy's frantic escape.
The Schwerer Gustav of the quetz is going to be showing up rather shortly and when those to two together, it's gonna be lit.
The Schwerer Gustav of the quetz is going to be showing up rather shortly and when those to two together, it's gonna be lit.
PoisonFangFur8444 (Account) - The Schwerer Gustav had TWO siblings, The Dora, and the Langer Gustav. The Langer Gustav was under construction when it was destroyed by one of the RAF's bombing raids during the Second World War. As for the "Dora", she was the second railway gun built and like her sibling, the "Schwerer Gustav", was destroyed by the Germans themselves in order to it from falling in the paws of the Allies towards the end of WW2. ALL three were scrapped.
PoisonFangFur8444 (Account) - Sometimes bigger isn't better. Take the Schwerer Gustav railway gun for example, it requires a lot of time just TO BE ASSEMBLED AND TAKEN APART as NO railway out there that can handle Schwerer Gustav's enormous weight AND size, so the Schwerer Gustav railway gun has to travel in PIECES to it's next position. It is during THIS span of time that the Schwerer Gustav railway gun is at his weakest so the Allies have easy pickings at him UNLESS he has hordes of AA fire and presence of Luftwaffe fighters protecting him.
PoisonFangFur8444 (Account) - When the Union Pacific railroad introduced their 9000 series which were 4-12-2s who hold the title of the largest locomotive to feature Sir Herbert Nigel Gresley's Gresley conjugated valve gear and the Soviet Union decided to try one up the Union Pacific RR's 9000 series by introducing the AA20, which was a 4-14-4. The AA20 was a sheer failure: It was too big for turntables owned by the USSR's railways, it wrecked the points of the switches the AA20 went over, it was too strong for the couplers used then, it was meant to burn LOW quality coal so it had poor steaming, and the AA20 destroys the USSR's rails. Bigger isn't better for many, many, many things. Back to guns. Larger guns means LESS ammo that it can carry, larger guns have SLOWER RELOAD SPEEDS, more creatures are needed to load the gun, they can be unwieldy, AND can be unreliable.
PoisonFangFur8444 (Account) - Unlike a tank, say a Panzer VI Tiger, which can move its main gun 360 degrees, the Schwerer Gustav railway gun is stuck pointed at its target and the Schwerer Gustav railway gun can't rotate to face and fire at other targets. As it sits on two custom sections of railway tracks, you can't move him WITHOUT TAKING APART him first.
Brand is still helping. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I think Suzokon-kyō's stomach just soured. The entire horrifying demonstration gave Purple Guy the time he needed to firewall the throttles and Bravo Oscar the hell out of there.
Suzokon-kyō, anata wa bakada. Jibun no akugyō no seika o shūkaku shimashou!
( For the non-weeaboo: Lord Suzocon, you are an idiot. Now harvest the fruits of your own villainy! )
I think the timetable for the quetz's Schwerer Gustav to show up and start blasting just got moved way sooner than Gyarakushīburein-kitsune was expecting.

I can easily see her giving a speech like that back when she and the other great warriors were fighting kono yarō kitsune as the Puppetmancer. What is left of Queen Vetra is far less heroic than Undyne on her worst day. Greedy, corrupt, petty, and evil. Rather like Lord Suzocon himself.
But that doesn't mean she doesn't have some BIG guns and an army behind her. I originally figured a yao no kitsune could easily overmatch her, but her and the entire Air Nation?
